Short version: we collect as little as possible, we never sell it, and you can have it deleted any time.
Who we are
Vibeproof (getvibeproof.com) is a small business based in Ontario, Canada. Questions or requests: hello@getvibeproof.com.
What we collect and why
When you use the free Quick Scan
- We fetch the address you enter and the public files it loads, the same way any visitor's browser would, so we can show you your results.
- We don't save the address you scanned or your results in our database. Results are shown to you and then discarded. We only keep a running count of how many scans happen each day (a number, nothing about you or the site).
- Like almost every website, our hosting provider keeps short-lived technical logs (such as IP address and time of request) to keep the service running and to stop abuse.
When you join the waitlist or newsletter
- We store your email address, when you signed up, which form you used, and a record of what you agreed to.
- We use it only to send Vibeproof launch news and our occasional security-tips newsletter, which is what you agreed to.
- Every email has an unsubscribe link. You can also email us and we'll remove you.
What we don't do
- We don't sell or rent your information to anyone.
- We don't show ads and don't use advertising or tracking cookies.
- We don't log in to, change, or store data from the sites you scan with the free Quick Scan.
Who stores it for us
We use a few trusted providers to run the site. Some of them store data in the United States.

If we add a provider (for example, a newsletter service), we'll update this page before using it.
Your choices
- See or correct what we hold about you: email us.
- Delete your information: email us, and we'll delete it within 30 days.
- Stop emails: click unsubscribe in any email, or email us.
Keeping it safe
We practise what we preach: our site uses HTTPS everywhere, strict security headers, and we keep database credentials out of the browser. No system is perfect; if something ever goes wrong that affects you, we'll tell you.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top. Big changes will be emailed to waitlist members.
